CONCEPT NOTE:

We all have things we're afraid of; things that pull us down and demotivate us from achieving our goal. This was true in my case as well. Back in 9th grade, I had created this shell of insecurities and expectations around me that made me see the world as an unwelcoming place where I couldn't fit in. Soon with my family's support and by gathering my inner strength, I pushed my limits to break that cage that I had built and set myself free. Thinking about this made me relate my experience to a fish being trapped in a fishing net. Through my lamp, the idea I'm conveying to the audience is that the fish in my lamp do something impossible which is to set themselves free from the net that's trapping them. These fish represent my inner self which had been trapped inside the cage of insecurities. Hence I believe, all of us should break those nets in our lives and push ourselves to do something impossible by escaping our boundaries.
